Roommate Christmas Party

Sunday was another day full of visitors for Benjamin! This time, mom's roommates from college came to Royal Oak to see us! Many of them now have kids too, so it was the first time that we got to have all of the babies together, and it was so much fun!

Merry Christmas!

Benjamin had a great first Christmas! On Christmas Eve, Grandpa Larry, Aunt Natalie, and Uncle Paul came over. On Christmas Day, Santa came and brought Benjamin all kinds of goodies! Then we went to grandma and grandpa's where he got even more goodies! :) We hope everyone had a very merry christmas!

Busy, Busy, Busy!!!!

Wow is this time of the year busy, especially with a baby!!! We have been doing so much, there has been no time for blogging! As you can see, Benjamin is following in his friend Henry's footsteps and loves his Baby Einstein entertainer. His favorite thing to do is push the animals and listen to the noises they make and hear their names in English AND Spanish. Benjamin also has been spending lots of time with grandma and grandpa, getting ready for the big transition that's about to happen when mom goes back to work January 5th. Happy Holidays!

My New Elf Outfit

This is Benjamin's new elf outfit from his Aunt Molly and Uncle Mike. Isn't it absolutely precious? As you can tell, he loves this outfit, it is so soft. He even loves the hat, which for Benjamin is unusual since he usually screams when mom tries to put hats on him! We are so excited that Mike and Molly are going to be Benjamin's godparents. He is very lucky to have such special people in his life.

Benjamin loves this Santa, who talks when you push his hand. He smiles and laughs every time Santa says, "Remember, the magic of Christmas is in your heart."

O Christmas Tree...

Benjamin got his very first Christmas tree this weekend! Mom, Dad, Kelley, and Gerrad went to cut down our trees while Benjamin stayed with Grandma and Grandpa. Benjamin loves staring at the lights, and especially loved putting on his "Benjamin" ornament that his grandma bought him.

Benjamin's new favorite thing to do is look at himself in his gymini mirror! He loves to talk, laugh, and smile at himself! He is definitely his mother's child! :)

First Snow!

Today Benjamin got all bundled up in his snowpants and snowsuit that Grandma and Grandpa bought him to go outside and see his first snow. As you can see by his face, he likes snow about as much as his mom does! :)

Big Boy!

Here is an adorable outfit given to us by my friend Kristie from work. Guess what size it is!??!?! 6-9 months!!!!!! Benjamin just keeps getting bigger and bigger :) This morning, I weighed him with myself, and he's about 17 pounds.

We are also soooo happy to report that Benjamin did great with Grandpa and Uncle Michael yesterday! He was a happy boy all day and made mom feel much better about going back to work.

Benjamin has Christmas fever...well maybe his mom does more so than he does, but anyways....

Today he dressed up in his little santa suit since it probably won't fit him in a few weeks! He actually liked it, probably because it is so soft and warm. He even has a belly like Santa. We can't wait for the holidays!
