GO SPARTANS GO!

Benjamin managed to scrunch into the only Spartans shirt that still fits him! Looks like it turned out well...our Spartans won!!!! Unfortunately, mom and Benjamin did not get to see any of the game due to a rough night on Thursday, but we are so happy and excited for tomorrow's game!

A Few Days Late...

Happy St. Patrick's Day...a few days late! We have been so busy enjoying the beautiful weather and watching the Spartans that we haven't had the time to update. We went to the doctor on Tuesday for Benjamin's 6 month appointment. He weighs 19 lbs, 10 ounces and is 27.5 inches long. He is now in the 85th percentile for weight and still in the 90th percentile in height. He is doing great-he is crawling (but only backwards right now!) and constantly rocking on all fours. He is sitting up completely by himself. He is also turning into quite a wild man- he loves to get in his Baby Einstein exersaucer and rock it back and forth and jump around like crazy in it. This weekend we're making another batch of baby food and going to include new foods. He pretty much has loved everything we've put in front of him, except for apricots!

Fun At The Park

We are loving this spring weather!!!! This weekend, we were so busy doing all kinds of things outside. As you can see, we took a trip to the neighborhood park in the stroller, and Benjamin had a great time. He LOVED the swings and going down the slide. On the way home, he was so tired that he fell fast asleep in his stroller.

Benjamin is so close to crawling-he is getting up on all fours, rocking back and forth on his knees, and crawling backwards. When we put something in front of him, he tries to crawl forward to it, but goes backwards instead :)

Tomorrow is his 6 month appointment and St. Patrick's Day, and of course he has a special outfit planned for it. I will try and post tomorrow!

I'm Quite A Catch!

March Madness

Things are busy as always at the Ozog household! We are so happy that it is March-we have so much to look forward to this month! We can't wait for it to get warmer, for daylight savings time, and to watch the Spartans WIN the NCAA tournament.

March started off with a visit from Benjamin's BFF (or future girlfriend) Alexandra, which you'll see in the pictures posted. It was so much fun to see them interact, move around, and play with toys together. It seems like just yesterday they were laying in Benjamin's crib not able to do a whole lot!

Benjamin is now eating a ton of solid foods-carrots, apples, pears, squash, and sweet potatoes. He loves everything he has tried-he is hilarious to watch eating! He keeps his mouth open the whole time and squirms around in his seat waiting for more. He also grabs your hands, the spoon, and the bowl if you aren't going fast enough for him.

As you can see in the pictures, he is sitting up on his own now for long periods of time. He does occasionally tip over, but most of the time he laughs when he does it! He is also getting up on his knees and rocking, and even slightly crawling and scooting backwards. We're thinking it's not going to be too long....

Benjamin will be 6 months old next week and will be going to the doctor, so we'll try and update you again soon!
