We Love Weekends!

Big Boy Bath!

Well our little baby is not so little anymore..he literally outgrew his bathtub that goes in the sink, so we decided to try a "big boy" bath. He loved it! As you can see, he had a great time playing with all of his toys and sitting in a big boy seat.

Getting Stronger!

Here are some new pictures of Benjamin..as you can see he is getting SO strong on his tummy! He is lifting himself completely off the ground, turning his head every way (including to look behind him) He is also rocking back and forth and moving his legs, which makes him look like he is swimming. We're wondering if he'll be an early crawler?

Benjamin's Baptism

This weekend was a very special weekend for all of us, as Benjamin was baptized on Sunday. The ceremony was held at St. James, the same church we were married in. (Only this time we had a much better priest-Father George, who yes remembered our names and respected us!)

Grandma and Grandpa had a beautiful luncheon at their house afterwards, we can't thank them enough for all of their hard work in making it a great day for all. Click on this link to enjoy all of the pictures!

4 Months Old!

Benjamin had his 4 month appointment today at the doctor's office! (And mom got to take him because she had a "cold day" due to the 30 below zero windchill!) He is 17 lbs, 5 oz. and 26.5 inches long. 95th percentile for weight and height :) The doctor said he is doing great, although he had a fever today and they couldn't figure out why. We are keeping our fingers crossed that he doesn't come down with something this weekend, because he is being baptized on Sunday.

To Make Up For Lost Time....

Benjamin is all bundled up today during this snowstorm in his little bear suit. He's also enjoying eating his elephant blankie. Lately anything and everything goes right to the mouth! We're thinking it might be teething?

We also continue to be shocked by his bluer than blue eyes! They just seem to be getting more and more blue, so we're really thinking they're going to stay!

Happy New Year!

Happy 2009! As you probably guessed, we have started out the new year VERY busy! Mom is back to work as of January 5th, and so far things have been going great! Benjamin loved spending a few days with dad as mom transitioned going back to work. Then he went to grandpa's for a day and Kelley's for a day and was such a good boy both days! We are so proud of him! We know we are so lucky to have people that we love and trust so much spending time with him when we are working. He is certainly a little boy who is loved!

Hopefully mom can continue to get back into a routine so that she can do more picture taking and posting even though she's working. Can you believe that a picture has not been taken of him since January 2nd!?!?!??!?! That is definitely a record in Benjamin's life!

Benjamin goes to the doctor next week for his 4 month appointment. We are anxious to see if he is still in the 97th percentile, we're guessing yes! He has also starting laughing and grabbing at everything he can get his little hands on.
