We Miss Daddy!

Dad is in Georgia for 3 weeks for work, and we are REALLY missing him! Luckily, grandma and grandpa bought us a webcam so that we can talk with him every day. Benjamin loves talking with him on the webcam and constantly goes over to my laptop and tries to open it. We can't wait for Friday-dad will be home for the weekend. We have lots planned-trip to the cider mill, pumpkin carving, and much more!

We Love Fall!

It was a beautiful fall day here in Michigan!!! We took full advantage of it and went to the zoo with Courtney, Curt, and Alexandra. Here is Benjamin in his new Red Wings hat he got from Grandpa Larry. He got lots of compliments on it today! :)
Benjamin and Alexandra walking around the zoo. Don't they look so grown up?

Benjamin wanted nothing to do with his stroller today. He was all about walking (nearly running) by himself!

Love this picture. Alexandra looks like such a little doll here!

Victory for MSU (FINALLY!!!!!)

Benjamin cheering after a BIG Spartan victory over the Michigan Wolverines!!!! He was so funny, he would laugh hysterically when mom and dad were screaming and cheering at the TV. Good thing he can't talk yet, or he'd be saying a lot of inappropriate things after the 4th quarter!
I love this picture, you can actually see him watching the game and Sparty is on the TV!

We went to our good friends Gerrad and Kelley's house to watch most of the game. Here is their son Jackson and Benjamin together. They did pretty well, although Benjamin did want to touch him, and eventually took the pillow out from behind Jackson.

Double Duty today-GO TIGERS!!!!!!!!!

Very curious about this baby....

We're Baaack!

It's been so long-hopefully things will start settling down so we are able to update you more!
Benjamin had his 1 year appointment last week-he is very healthy and doing outstanding! He is 23 lbs, 4 oz and 30 inches tall. That is 50th percentile for weight, and 85th for height. He has really fallen off the charts in weight, but we aren't surprised-the boy NEVER stops, literally. He is on the go constantly and into everything. He is walking everywhere, although I'm not sure if I would "officially" call him a walker yet-he still falls a lot and prefers to crawl if he needs to get somewhere fast. He also loves climbing stairs, emptying cupboards, drawers, and closets, pushing all of the buttons on his toys (we know every song and sound by heart!), and pushing around everything with wheels! He is also quite the climber-he has learned how to climb onto the couch and chairs. He is babbling all of the time, and loves to say dada, mama, kitty, baba, and hi. He is learning how to "gently" pet the cats and still loves Chloe to death!
Happy Fall!

Fall Adventures

Benjamin in his Spartans jersey-doesn't seem to be bringing them much luck this season :( We are hoping for a big win this weekend! GO STATE!
Riding the train at the Detroit Zoo for the first time-LOVED it! He had a big smile on his face the whole ride.

Benjamin's favorite new food-toast. Not sure if he likes the taste or just the GIANT mess that it makes!

On the train at the zoo again!

Benjamin riding the 1 cent horse at Meijer. Again, he had a big smile on his face the whole time!

More Party Photos

Sorry that this has taken so long...as you can imagine with the start of school, things around here have been very busy! I promise to post more this week, but a quick update: Benjamin is SO close to walking. He is taking more and more steps every day and is walking to get everywhere. He is still opening his new toys and clothes, but loves them all.

Happy Happy Birthday to our sweet little Benjamin! We had an incredible day today-a huge party with so many of our friends and family. We couldn't have asked for a nicer day, and Benjamin got so many nice presents. We love this little guy more than anything in the whole world-he brings us such joy and happiness each and every day.
