Growing Too Fast!

We can't believe how much Benjamin is growing up and changing. He is outgrowing so many things-his infant car seat, bathtub, and swing have all been replaced with the "big boy" versions. We also had to lower his crib because he's getting so good on his tummy that he looks like he's going to pop right out!

As you can see, we were very busy this weekend. Benjamin had his first real food-carrots! He wasn't so sure about them on Sunday, but tonight he devoured them. Mom and dad made food yesterday-carrots, parsnips, sweet potatoes, apples, and pears. We can't wait to see his reaction to each one!

We also went to visit Aunt Molly and Uncle Mike, and of course she had an adorable outfit for him. He looks precious in his old man sweater!

We thought we'd share some pictures of Benjamin in his new blue shirt that brings out those gorgeous blue eyes! Who would've thought they'd stay blue!??!

Happy Valentine's Day!

Benjamin is so happy that it is Valentine's Day...we even got him to smile for the camera several pictures in a row!

We Want Spring!

We are waaaay behind in our blogging-sorry! We were enjoying last weekend's weather so much that we just didn't have the time. As you can see, Benjamin FINALLY got to see what outside is again after several months of being cooped up inside! He loved going for walks in his stroller and the Baby Bjorn. He also got to wear his bear snowsuit that his great grandma Sullivan bought him, and he loved that as well. We are VERY ready for spring in our house!

Big Day of Firsts!

Benjamin had a very BIG weekend! First, he went out to dinner with mom, grandma, and grandpa for the first time on Friday night, as well as with mom and dad on Saturday, and did so good both nights! Then on Saturday, dad put together his high chair, and as you will see when you click on the slideshow below, he loved it! The biggest news of the weekend was him trying rice cereal for the first time. He absolutely loved it and ate every last bit! (Well, what didn't end up on his face or bib!) He ate more cereal today and would actually fuss inbetween bites if mom didn't feed him fast enough. Click on the slideshow below to see all of the pictures!

Look at me sit up!

Benjamin just continues to amaze us... his newest trick has been sitting up pretty well on his own (well with the boppy behind him) He's also going to try rice cereal tonight for the first time...we are hoping to get a good video of it posted later tonight.
