Picture Perfect 2

Benjamin got his pictures taken today and he loved smiling for the camera! (We all know he's had lots of practice at home) We also took our first of many trips to the Detroit Zoo, we will post some pictures later. Here is the link to more pictures if you're interested:

I just renamed this post to "Picture Perfect 2" because I realized I got the idea from this title from my friend Jill's blog..oops :) I knew I wasn't creative enough to think of this on my own, but I just realized it now.

We are loving this Florida sunshine that you sent our way :) Benjamin got a new sun hat, and a big bottle of sunscreen today for our outdoor adventures. We spent almost all day outside playing in the grass, going for walks, and enjoying this beautiful day. The best news is that it's supposed to be even warmer Friday and Saturday! Hooray!

Come on Sunshine!!!

We are certainly ready for sunshine here after 2 1/2 days of cold and rain...anyone else??? Grandma and Grandpa are in Florida this week, please send back some sunshine for us!!!!! We got a few peeks earlier today and went for a nice walk in the stroller, but it's cloudy again and we're getting impatient!

Happy Easter!

We hope you're having as good of an Easter as we had! Benjamin loved dressing up in his Easter best. He was quite a hit at church today-he got so much attention and loved every minute of it. The Easter Bunny came to our house and brought some treats, although Benjamin was most interested in the grass that came in the basket and chewing on his basket. He was also spoiled by grandma and both of his grandpas! I'm posting a link to a slideshow of pictures since there are so many adorable ones. We are getting his pictures taken professionally again next weekend, so we'll post more of those when we get them as well! Happy Easter!

My First Pep Rally!

We rushed home from work as fast as we could so that Benjamin could attend Michigan State's pep rally at Somerset Mall, which isn't far from our house!!! We had a great time and of course got dressed up in all of our MSU gear. They are estimating there were between 7,000-8,000 people there-we believe it! It was packed, and very loud, which scared Benjamin a bit, but overall we had a great time. You can see from one of the pictures posted that we did see snap a picture of our beloved Tom Izzo!

We are SO hopeful that the Spartans will win tomorrow and play again on Monday night!!! GO SPARTANS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Benjamin managed to scrunch into the only Spartans shirt that still fits him! Looks like it turned out well...our Spartans won!!!! Unfortunately, mom and Benjamin did not get to see any of the game due to a rough night on Thursday, but we are so happy and excited for tomorrow's game!
