Letting Go
We are definitely not ready for summer to end at our house...but we know it's fast approaching. Mom is going back to work on Monday and is DREADING it! We are trying to squeeze as much fun as we can into these last few days. Last week, it was finally in the 90's here-something we've been waiting for all summer here! Benjamin got to experience hanging out in just a diaper-finally!
Happy Boy!
Last Wednesday, Benjamin and mom took a trip to MSU together to see campus. Benjamin loved it and of course told me that he definitely plans on going there for college! He wore festive green and white. Here he is in front of the library.
Of course we had to go see the ducks by the library on the Red Cedar River. Benjamin loved feeding them and did not want to leave. I was quite frightened by the whole experience-the ducks are MUCH more agressive than I remember. Not sure if that's just a paranoid mom thing or if they seriously have gotten worse. They were following us all the way to the stroller as you can see in this picture.
Last Saturday it rained all day and Benjamin was NOT happy about it! He loves to be outside pretty much every second he is awake, so mom and dad were desperate to make him happy. We've been talking about buying him a little ball house for awhile, and decided Saturday was the day! We got him this little fire engine ballhouse, and he loves it! It kept him entertained for a long time when he wasn't able to go outside.
Look at that static!
We had another busy but relaxing weekend! This is Benjamin at the cottage-brrrr it was cold! Felt more like October than August, but we had a good time anyways!
Benjamin in his favorite place in our whole house-the front porch, with his favorite toy, his golf club!
We went to Courtney and Curt's house for a playdate with Alexandra. Benjamin loved pushing her shopping cart around.
